Caring for ALL in the LS25 LS26 LS15 LS14 WF10 community

NET A Charity for All In Garforth and the surrounding 12 villages of East Leeds covering 45 sq.

miles.

Its ethos is summed up by a comment from one of NET’s clients who commented on our facebook page. ”You do so much for the community and never want praise, you just want to help because you care” This comment sums up NET’s ethos of supporting the over 60s and since 2001 supporting the community. NET could not operate without the volunteers who work with us. They are the ones that should be applauded for what NET achieves and the services NET provides. Thank you to everyone who has supported us in recent years. From those of you who come along to regular activities, to those who come along for the occasional coffee. Knowing we make even the slightest difference means so much to us. However, none of what we do would be possible without our team of wonderful volunteers. This has been a challenge over recent years and our volunteers have stepped up, adapted and been there for all of us, so once more we reiterate that you are truly the Jewels in NET’s crown and say a very sincere thank you! We continue to be overwhelmed by the support from our community, through food donations from major supermarkets, to local businesses, individuals and organisations who have given financial support. NET is proud to be working with Leeds City Council and Voluntary Action Leeds to deliver community support. Warm Spaces have been replaced over the warmer months by Connect Coffee Mornings most mornings at our various locations for food drinks and socialisation. The NET Coffee Mornings are listed below, all offer free hot drinks and a range of free refreshments including hot toast and crumpet or cake or scones. The Coffee Mornings are open age, so everyone is welcome to come along to enjoy the events and some friendly company. Additional information can be found in our newsletter.
