Terracotta Warriors visited by NET Clients and Volunteers.
A trip to the National Museum Liverpool's exhibition of China’s First Emperor and the Terracotta Warriors was a great day out. The guided experience was said by some to be better than previous exhibitions in London. Some managed to experience more recent history by also visiting the Cavern Club, made famous by the FAB 4 the Beatles.
We are pleased to continue to receive kind donations of non perishable food and goods from the customers of Sainsburys. The store keeps barrows near their exit for customers to donate food and useful household items. We collect the items and distribute to the local community who have an urgent need. We work closely with the District Nursing teams and other statutory bodies who identify those in need. This can often be a stopgap when the elderly come out of hospital. Again thank you to Sainsburys and all their customers who support NET and its clients.
