National Diversity Awards 2013 - At the Queens Hotel Leeds, September 2013 Runner Up. The final 3 invited to attend the presentations from 4500 nominations.

Adult Social Care Awards for Excellence Finalist 2013 - Partner of the Year Category.

NET has been awarded Approved Provider Status by the Mentoring and Befriending foundation on behalf of the Home Office and Department for Education and Skills (DfES).

Our award was formally presented to staff and volunteers at a ceremony in the NET  office on 14th. August 2009 by our Garforth and area MP, Colin Burgon.

The volunteers  also    welcomed  councillors Keith Parker and  James Lewis plus Lynn White representing Leeds City Council.

We cannot emphasize enough that this award is down to the dedication and commitment of all the volunteers who give up their time to make NET the success it is.

Duke of York’s Community Award…Prince Andrew presented NET with the prestigious  Duke of York’s Community Initiative Award at a ceremony at the Army Foundation College in Harrogate on Tuesday 11th. October 2011. The Duke of York visited Yorkshire to present the Awards personally to Yorkshire organisations that have transformed the lives of the community.The  NET  Award was accepted by Monica Walker on  behalf  of  NET and its volunteers. Following the presentation the Prince visited the NET stand to gain a full understanding of the NET organisation. Monica and NET Chairman Roy Norcliffe explained the wide range of services and activities undertaken in Garforth and the surrounding villages. He commented that the organisation and its volunteers were performing a vital service and requested us to keep up the good work.
